I’m a DPhil candidate at the Oxford Internet Institute, studying e-Research in the life sciences, supervised by Professor Ralph Schroeder and Dr Eric T. Meyer. I’m also a research assistant on the RIN-Physical Sciences Information Practices project.
I’m a member of Keble College, Oxford, and until recently (2008-2010) served as one of Keble’s Junior Deans, responsible for student welfare and discipline. Before starting my DPhil I worked for Ingenta as an Information Architect, with clients including the OECD, the World Bank and the IMF. I worked in the Internet industry for about 11 years before deciding to study it. I’m originally from Brisbane, Australia.
